Ericsson Federal Supports ISAC Proof of Concept, Advancing Secure Sensing and Communications for U.S. Defense and Government Missions
Ericsson Federal Technologies Group (Ericsson Federal) is proud to support Ericsson’s live demonstration of its breakthrough Integrated Sensing and Communication (ISAC) technology at the company’s U.S. Headquarters in Plano, Texas. This milestone signals a significant advancement in the evolution of wireless networks that not only connect people and systems but also sense and interpret the physical world around them.
By embedding sensing capabilities directly into 5G and future 6G networks, ISAC enables infrastructure to detect, track, and characterize objects in real time. This dual-use capability extends the value of wireless networks far beyond connectivity, delivering persistent spatial awareness to support both commercial and government missions.
